Short Film Lab Digital Terms of Service

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PURCHASE OF THE SHORT FILM LAB DIGITAL PROGRAM

PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION You hereby authorize Emily Grace and Fool Films LLC to charge your credit card according to the payment schedule outlined on your checkout page. You will be billed automatically. 

REFUND POLICY You agree to the terms & conditions of this service in that all payments are non-refundable. You are responsible for complete payment of the entire program, regardless of attendance. Please be sure you are making the right decision for your career.  

ANTI-PLAGIARISM PLEDGE

Purchase of the Short Film Lab Digital includes your express agreement to maintain the confidentiality of all program participants and their intellectual property. Any confidential information or intellectual property shared by a program participant or the COACH is proprietary and belongs solely and exclusively to the Participant who discloses it. You agree not to disclose, reveal or make use of proprietary information or intellectual property in any manner other than discussion with other participants during the program, nor will you plagiarize the work of others in any way.

Your purchase of the program includes your agreement to these terms, and is considered your legally binding digital signature.

LIFETIME ACCESS TO THE VIDEO TRAINING

All payments must be completed in full to retain lifetime access to the video trainings. If you have outstanding payments, your access to the program will be revoked until your payments have been completed. Failure to complete all payments will result in your loss of access to the program.

RELEASE AUTHORIZATION

By enrolling in the Short Film Lab Digital program + 3 months of support, you hereby grant permission to Emily Grace and Fool Films LLC, the right of your image, in video or still photograph, and of the likeness and sound of your voice as recorded on audio or video tape, and any social media posts you voluntarily share inside the Short Film Lab Facebook group without payment or any other consideration. You understand that your image, audio or posts may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein your likeness appears.  

Additionally, you waive any rights to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of your image, posts or recording.  

Photographic, audio or video recordings, as well as Facebook group posts may be used for ANY USE which may include but is not limited to: Presentations, Courses, Online / Internet videos, Media, News or Press, Promotions or online advertising  

By purchasing the Short Film Lab Digital Program + 3 Months Of Support , you understand this permission signifies that photographic, video, recordings, or audio recordings of you may be electronically displayed via the internet . You also understand that anything you post inside the Short Film Lab Facebook group may be distributed for promotional purposes on the internet by Emily Grace and Fool Films LLC  

There is no limit on the validity of this release nor is there any geographic limitation on where these materials may be distributed.  

This release applies to photographic, audio, or video recordings collected as part of the Short Film Lab hosted by Emily Grace and Fool Films LLC. It also applies to any images or content you voluntarily share on the Short Film Lab Facebook group.  

You acknowledge that you have completely read and fully understand the above release and agree to be bound thereby. By purchasing the Short Film Lab Digital program, you hereby release any and all claims against any person or organization utilizing this material for educational or promotional purposes.  

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Because of the position in the entertainment industry of all Pickford West Society owners, employees, coaches, mentors and assignees, their own ideas, Submissions, submission assignments, treatments, TV pilots, web series, books, screenwriting services, consultation services, submission editing, workshops, webinars, lectures and teaching, they are continuously exposed to Submissions, teleplays, novels, short stories, formats, treatments, outlines, pitches, loglines, presentations, stories, films, games and the like, which may be similar to those already developed by you (the Client), or related parties, (and which may be based on underlying material owned or controlled by the Client), and often many similar ideas/stories relate to one or more common underlying themes in different projects that may already exist. Client shall indemnify and hold harmless Fool Films LLC, Emily Grace, and all Short Film Lab Intensive employees, from and against any and all liability, judgments, claims, costs, damages, losses and expenses (including without limitation costs and attorneys’ fees whether or not in connection with litigation) arising out of or in connection with similar creative ideas.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY Unless explicitly authorized, you may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, rent, lease, loan, translate, sell, create derivative works of, exploit, or distribute in any manner or medium (including by email or other electronic means) any of the content, recordings, methods or other materials related to this course.  

DISCLAIMER FOOL FILMS LLC DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL GET ANY RESULTS OR EARN ANY MONEY USING ANY OF OUR PRODUCTS, IDEAS, TOOLS, STRATEGIES, OR RECOMMENDATIONS, AND NOTHING ON OUR WEBSITES OR IN OUR PRODUCTS IS A PROMISE OR GUARANTEE TO YOU OF FUTURE EARNINGS.  

YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY OF THESE PRODUCTS IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. You alone are responsible for your actions and results personally and professionally. You also understand that any testimonials or endorsements by our customers or audience represented on our programs, websites, content, landing pages, sales pages or offerings have not been scientifically evaluated by us, and the results experienced by individuals may vary significantly.
